Wow, the last two weeks have been surreal! Traveling around to 4 states and photographing two weddings has been such a blessing. First I’d like to introduce you to Lisa and Alex. If you have been following along on Facebook, you know these two are quite the pair. Their story begins on a night when both had a few too many sips of wine and a  grand plan to see the world was born. Right before their big adventure Alex proposed to Lisa and what was once an exciting trip to see the world has turned into so much more.

I found Lisa and Alex’s story through their beautiful blog, 2People1Life, and fell in love with who they are inside and out! These two are traveling around the world, experiencing as many different weddings and cultures as possible and raising money for charity while they do so! What better way to say I Do than 30+ times over in lovely locations with new friends and vendors to help make your day beyond special. Their story along with their passion for life really fueled my fire to jump on board and capture this amazing journey in Colorado for what became wedding number 25!

Since their lovely faces were on the Ellen DeGeneres Show the day before, the wedding day started at the airport off and running to appointments throughout the day before the wedding in the early evening! Brit of Brit Stewart Weddings was an absolute treasure in helping plan their day from dress to venue! After we found the dress thanks to the wonderful Denver based designer, Marie Margo, we headed on to Devil’s Thumb Ranch Resort & Spa! Not only was this an amazing resort in the beautiful mountains of Colorado, but Kevin and the staff of Devil’s Thumb rolled out the red carpet and even included a trip to the zip-line!

After the zip-line, we hurried inside to prepare for the wedding that was taking place in a few short moments! You would tend to think that as Lisa and Alex are married numerous times they have everything down and nerves are a thing of the past, but that just isn’t the case! These two love each other beyond measure and every wedding is an important and significant part to their lives. Although they were not officially married at the end of the ceremony, tears fell and sweet words were said with the help of an amazing officiant, Matt Raynak of Rocky Mountain Wedding Services!

The sun had set and Alex and Lisa had said I Do for the 25th time. It was a beautiful day and lovely evening getting to know these two better.
