Family weddings are always an exciting time,  hectic, full of celebrating, and of course more dancing than you should probably ever do in one night! This past Saturday, my brother Chris, after 19 years of prep, finally married Rhonda, the amazing lady you see below! Not only do they share a beautiful son together, my awesome nephew Cody, but they really do make a fantastic couple! Out of my four brothers, yes four, Chris is probably the least likely to let me snap his photo. So when they asked me to be the photographer for their day, I was more than surprised and of course was happy to help.

Being the photographer at your own families’ wedding has both it’s pros and cons but just being able to capture images of the people you love most on such a happy day is truly a blessing. And although a random storm decided to show up in the middle of the day creating some interesting outdoor photography conditions, we were able to create some beautiful images! Congratulations Chris and Rhonda, love you so much and couldn’t be happier for the two of you!
