Instead of posting about beautiful locations and exciting adventures today, I thought I would send prayers and thoughts for all those that were devastated by the Earthquake and Tsunami in Japan. I can not possibly imagine what residents of those towns that were demolished are going through right now, but I can hope that if enough people send prayers and donations, that maybe just maybe they will be greeted with a little comfort in the next few months.

So if you are looking for ways to help, look no further, I’ve gathered a list of credible fund raisers and ways that you too can help our brothers and sisters in Japan!

PRAY! Yes such an easy gift to give, yet powerful in so many ways.

• Donate through ITUNES : Itunes has set up a page where you can easily donate, just follow the link HERE.

• Donate through FLIGHT : American Airlines is currently giving their American Airline supporters the chance to donate and receive bonus frequent flier miles. Now I know donating without expecting anything in return is a given, but who wouldn’t take a few frequent flier miles on the side to a nice donation. More information HERE.

• Donate via TEXT : Here are all the ways you can donate by texting which I know each and every one of us do on a 24/7 basis…
Text “JAPAN” or “TSUNAMI” to 20222 to donate $10 on behalf of Save the Children Federation, Inc.

Text “4JAPAN”or “4TSUNAMI” to 20222 to donate $10 on behalf of World Vision, Inc.

Text “MERCY” to 25383 to donate $10 on behalf of Mercy Corps

The Red Cross has its own mobile giving program, in which supporters can text “REDCROSS” to 90999 to give 10

If you want to support The Salvation Army USA, you can text “JAPAN” to 80888 to make a $10 donation to the organization.

There are just a few of the options out there right now, if anything just say a prayer, send good thoughts, anything. Some of these people have lost everything, their homes, family, the very life they built. God Bless!
