Jordan and Julie : The Wedding • Missouri Wedding Photographer

Jordan and Julie, where do I begin! Their wedding day was filled with so much joy and excitement that it was bursting at the seems. From one lovely ceremony, filled with songs that would make any one’s eyes fill with tears, to the Kansas Jayhawk Mascot being their escort at the reception,  it was quite the day! Luckily for me, I had the opportunity to capture all these lively moments, for a bride and groom who obviously love to have a good time whether they are in New York or Kansas! Their day started as any normal bride and groom’s day does, getting ready in separate rooms surrounded by family and friends. Both Jordan and Julie were anticipating the First Look all morning. Finally the time came, and Jordan and Julie had their moment together. It was absolutely beautiful. After that we whisked off for all the portraits of the day before the big ceremony later in the evening!

Between the decor and music, the ceremony was stunning! There were some sweet words exchanged between Jordan and Julie, and many tears. I’m sure the video footage from this part of the day will be cherished forever thanks to Brandon from Goodwin Films! After the ceremony, we headed out to the patio of the Sheraton in Overland Park for my favorite part of the day, the newlywed couple portraits! Thanks to Kelley, the amazing coordinator for the day, the fire pits were lit and the beautiful scene was set!

Finally after the photos and the “I Dos” for the day, it was time to celebrate! And that is exactly what Jordan, Julie, and the entire room filled with family, friends and guests did late into the evening! Congratulations you two, I hope your love for one another is just as beautiful and exciting as your wedding day was!
