Let’s head back in time a few days, to a worried Catherine on a Saturday night. I knew Alice and Matt were getting married the following day in an outdoor ceremony and the forecast was rain. Not partly cloudy, not a slight shower or two, but rain with the lightning symbol and all. I also knew we were suppose to have a mini couple session after the wedding day, in the sun, not the rain! So my wheels started turning for back up plans. My first thoughts ran to Alice and Matt, I knew they both had waited so patiently for this day to arrive,  I really just wanted it to be perfect for the both of them!

Well the wedding day arrived and it was perfect, rain and all! Of course the weather did not cooperate, but Alice and Matt had no intention of letting something like the weather spoil  such an important day in their lives. They moved the ceremony inside Les Bourgeois and at the end of the day were still man and wife! As for the mini couple session, well I have to admit I had some pretty great back up plans lined up, out of the rain. But Alice and Matt to my surprise were excited to go out in the rain after their big day had ended. So off the shoes went and out into the vineyard we all ventured.  It was honestly one of the most romantic mini sessions I’ve done for a couple. Congratulations Alice and Matt, you two are amazing and Matt, I can only hope that you continue to sweep Alice off her feet as much as you do now for the rest of your lives 🙂
