We were so honored to be a part of Caitlin and Mike’s beautiful Iceland Elopement this Fall! It’s always special documenting a wedding day, but even more so when you get to play witness to such a sweet moment as two amazing individuals promise to spend the rest of their lives together in such a private setting. We all ventured from Colorado for their Iceland Elopement, taking in one of the most beautiful places in the world!
We began the day in Reykjavik, at the cutest Air BnB! The day was rainy and windy, but that’s to be expected for Iceland in the Fall. So we bundled up and headed out to Thingvellir National Park! The ceremony was set at Pingvellir church. This church is set between the North American tectonic plate and the European plate! The ceremony was just as beautiful as the setting, intimate and full of love!
After Caitlin and Mike became Mr. and Mrs. we ventured to the South part of Iceland! Our adventure took us along a back road I couldn’t even tell you the name of, but it was stunning! And that’s where we’ll end this post, with two beautiful souls married in Iceland! Part two is coming soon with more stunning moments from this Iceland Elopement, so stay tuned!
