Last week was an adventure! Before I took off to Alabama for a beautiful southern wedding, MacKenzie and Danny met with me at 7am bright eyed and ready for their engagement session! This engagement session was a little out of the ordinary, mainly because half of it took place 500 feet in the air. Yes, we all headed up on a hot air balloon with Hard Times Ballooning and created some lovely images along the way. Luckily for us, the leaves are changing so we had the chance to not only see the beautiful sunrise but the amazing fall colors to accent that perfect Missouri skyline.

Now this was my first time being up in a Hot Air Balloon and I do have to say it’s a must! Although both myself and MacKenzie were a bit scared of heights, it was smooth sailing and the images were completely worth it! Congratulations MacKenzie and Danny, I can not wait for your big day next year!
