Mariam and Doug’s Simpson House Wedding in Kansas City was an absolute dream! We just adore intimate weddings, where just the couples’ family and closer friends are in attendance. These weddings have such a relaxed feel that truly translates into such beautiful photos of the day! Then to set that all in the most beautiful backyard wedding venue in Kansas City, it was truly the perfect wedding day!

Mariam and Doug have that kind of love where once they see each other, they can’t quit smiling! And that was true throughout the entire day! Mariam and her friends began the day at the Simpson House before heading downstairs to see her Groom! From there we photographed gorgeous moments around the property, utilizing every lovely spot we could find! And did I mention how beautiful Mariam and Doug are together!?

Their ceremony was set in the backyard with just a handful of guests to really focus on the meaning of the day! With beautiful vows and their First Kiss as husband and wife, these two exited their ceremony to tossed rose petals! The reception was stunning with beautiful floral pieces gracing every table! The toasts were sweet and the music kicked off the party! The day in all was perfect and we wish nothing but the best for these two and their beautiful new marriage!
